Yahoo! News offers a list of their web news feeds for RSS readers and My Yahoo!. The feeds include world and national news, sports, entertainment, science, elections, oddly enough and more. You can even create your own custom news feeds to get the information that really interests you.

I wanted to do something smaller, but didn't think that everything you needed to see would be visible in a smaller screen.
