How to write a CV

Those who are seeking jobs, particularly in education, often need to write a CV [Curriculum Vitae] as part of their application.  CV Tips gives advice on composing a CV and the type of information that should be found there.  This is especially useful for someone who has never written a CV and wants to know how it is different from a resume.

Find A Job specializes in helping people find a job in higher education whether you are looking for something as a faculty member or administration.  You can search by job description, location, degree required and even arrange to get e-mails if jobs matching your interests are posted.  The Basic membership is free but memberships giving more advanced searches cost a fee depending on how long the subscription will be.   Employers can also post jobs to the site.

Careerjet is a job-search engine looking at jobs throughout the United States according to industry/field, function and location.  There are also links to job-search engines in other countries and the site offers the opportunity for applicants to post resumes or businesses to recruit.

employmentresources.info is a web directory offering lots of links to job-search related sites.  Some of links are to sites dedicated to jobs in particular areas such as in the health and tech fields. There is no description of the site beyond the site title.  So, if you are looking for a particular job or wishing to advertise for a particular job, you may want to start your search here.
