The Prayercast consists of several short components: a greeting and introduction, a statement of focus for the week, a psalm reflection, the Sunday Gospel reading and homily, a meditation song, intercessions and the singing of the Lord’s Prayer. The musical repertoire is taken from the library of the Notre Dame Folk Choir, one of the University's principal liturgical choirs.

The purpose of this website is to be a resource to worship leaders. Beginning on Ash Wednesday (February 21st) and lasting through the duration of Lent (Ending April 5th), I will post one video each day. Each video will consist of one original song (liturgical / worship music) including instruction on how to play it. In addition to the video, I will also post the sheet music for the song. These songs are available as a tool for worship leaders. Please refer to the usage agreement for details.

Greetings. The Mighty Favog here. Welcome to Revolution 21. Lets get something straight right now, O huddled masses: Revolution 21 ain your grandmas radio podcast. It ain your typical Catholic radio thing, and it ain your typical corporate, over-researched, same-boring-playlist rock radio thing, either. But is it really useful to define Revolution 21 by what its not? So sorry, my plebes! My bad. Lets just say -- plainly -- what Revolution 21 is. Revolution 21 is a mixture of the sacred and the secular. The serious and the foolish. Rock . . . and roll. And blues in the night. Enough blather, proclaims the Mighty Favog, your potentate of New Media! Let us now proceed with trashing preconceived notions of radio formatting and stale bourgeois convention. Let us now do radio like we ought to be living -- faith and life together, recognizing only two kinds of music. That would be Good and Bad. The bad, we don mess with.
