Diocese of Rochester Podcast

Website Description:

Bishop of Rochester Matthew H. Clark offers thoughts on the Easter season and the power of faith to transform lives in his first use of the increasingly popular technology of podcasting. The Bishop's message kicks off a series of podcasts through Pentecost, the feast 50 days after Easter on which Christians celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit to the Apostles. In coming weeks, a variety of people in diocesan ministry will offer thoughts on the week's Scripture readings through the podcasts.

forty days of praise

Website Description:

The purpose of this website is to be a resource to worship leaders. Beginning on Ash Wednesday (February 21st) and lasting through the duration of Lent (Ending April 5th), I will post one video each day. Each video will consist of one original song (liturgical / worship music) including instruction on how to play it. In addition to the video, I will also post the sheet music for the song. These songs are available as a tool for worship leaders. Please refer to the usage agreement for details.

Parish Mission:I Want God

Website Description:

Our parish mission this Lent at St. Anastasia was a joint effort between the Archdiocese of Detroit's Evangelization Team and Renewal Ministries.  It was four days and nights of many graces and blessings.  Our theme this year was "I want God!"  This theme bespeaks the reality that "anything that is less than everything is not enough."  In other words, as great as the things in this life are, they are not enough.  We want more!  God has made us a hole that only he can fill.  And even more than we want God, He wants us!
