As we begin December we meditate upon the words of the Prophet Baruch and Pope St. Leo the Great. While we usually associate conversion with the time of Lent, Advent is also a time of conversion and repentance. Christ came into the world to save sinners and salvation means cooperating with our Lord in becoming every day more fully the persons we have been created to be. Repentance and conversion are made possible through the grace of God through the share we have in God's divinity through the Incarnation. Christ has united himself with us and we should strive every day to unite ourself to him.
